Portaferry Play Facility Consultation

Overview

The playground in Castle Park, Portaferry is scheduled for refurbishment. ANDBC is exploring the possibility of relocating the playground to a site on the Lough Shore Road. The aim of this consultation is to ascertain the views of local residents in the Portaferry area with regards to either keeping the playground in Castle Park or relocate to a site on the Lough Shore Road. A new Tier 1 / Destination Area playground will be delivered in the preferred location. Examples of other Tier 1 / Destination Area playgrounds in the Borough can be found at Seapark (Holywood) Pickie (Bangor) Cootehall Road (Crawfordsburn) and The Commons (Donaghadee).
