Operation of Community Planning 2018

Overview

CPON Members present at the meeting on 31^st August agreed that we should take time to reflect on how Community Planning is operating across the 11 Councils. It was decided that at the November 2018 meeting of CPON the agenda would focus on sharing information to enable an in-depth discussion to take place.  Prior to this meeting it was suggested that each Council should complete a short survey to gather comparable data on how Community Planning is operating in each of the councils and the support that partners are providing.

The survey has a been structured to gather information on the following areas:

• Budgets and staffing
• Support from within Council
• Support from outside of Council
• Resources to manage community planning

Specific community planning structures can be discussed during Novembers meeting.

Please note only one survey should be completed per council.
