Portaferry Older Children Provision Consultation 2026

Overview

The Ards and North Down Play Strategy 2021- 2032 highlighted the need for older children provision in Portaferry, this is proposed at Demense View/ Cloughey Road.

The aim of this consultation is to get the views of local residents and young people in the Portaferry area with regards to which type of facility they would prefer.  The preferred facility type will then be delivered at Demense View/ Cloughey Road.

    A public drop in session will be held in Ballygowan Community Hall to allow people to see the designs of the proposed path and the different older children facility types and they will be able to record their preferred facility type via the online survey, paper copies will also be available.
