Emergency First Aid at Work April 2026
Overview
QA Level 3 Award for Emergency First Aid at Work
One day course adapted for those involved in food and drink sector. This will cover burns, cuts, severe food anaphylaxis, physical injuries such as breaks and sprains as well as breathing and those situations requiring CPR.
24 places are available across three days (8 per day):
- Tuesday 28 April
- Wednesday 29 April
- Thursday 30 April
The course will take place at 2 Save a Life offices (next to Relax Coffee Co, 19 Strangford Business Park, Newtowards, BT24 4YH)
Businesses can apply for up to two spaces, however places will initially be allocated on the basis of one place per business in the event of over-subscription.
A £20 booking fee will be applied to secure your place(s). Businesses providing a hot food and hospitality service are prioritised alogside buisnesses that operate in a factory setting.
The course will commence at 9.30am and end at 4.45pm on all three days. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
This course is strictly limited to the employees of 2026 members of Taste Ards and North Down. Applications forms from non-members will be deleted,
Why your views matter
The course is framed to help members meet the challenges of managing HSE issues at work. Completion of this course will enable individuals to complete a three-day course for an enhanced certificate and may help reduce insurance costs.
Members should only book a place wher this course would assist with their HSE site and staff management.
