Overview
LOCAL FOOD & DRINK CHAMPION AWARD
Taste Ards & North Down's Local Food & Drink Hero Awards take place on Wednesday 6 March 2024. These awards acknowledge the success of the food and drink sector in 2023 and provide a focus for our public message to support local food and drink businesses.
In this third edition of the awards, 30 businesses will be celebrated alongside the top accolade; the Lady Dufferin Award for Producer of the Year. In addition, we have a new additional award; the 'Taste Ards & North Down Local Food & Drink Champion of the Year'. This award will be presented to a person or business who stands out as a local champion of food and drink'.
You have submitted a total of 46 nominations and now we have shortlist of six from which to select your overall champion.
We wish to acknowledge the huge contribution made by the final six contenders. All are champions of local food and drink in our view. We should also note that three others very nearly made this list and it came down to single votes.
