Closes 28 Feb 2025

Opened 22 Jan 2025

Overview

Shaping the Future of Greyabbey

Ards and North Down Borough Council is working through a process to develop a new Village Plan for Greyabbey.

The Village Plan is a non-statutory document which outlines the long-term goals, objectives, and vision for the village. The actions identified in the Village Plan help to co-ordinate development efforts, prioritise investment and ensure there is a clear vision for the future of Greyabbey.

The process for developing the new Greyabbey Village Plan includes a number of key stages:

Stage 1 - Public Engagement Process (Completed) gathered a diverse range of input through various methods, including public workshops, involvement of community groups and local schools, engagement at public events, on-street surveys and online surveys. This approach helped to ensure all members of the community were provided an opportunity to share their views and shape the future priorities for their village.

This is now complete and a set of proposed priorities have been identified.

Stage 2 - Refine Priorities

The Council invites residents and businesses of Greyabbey to review the proposed priorities that have been identified and let us know what you think by completing this survey.
